Safety & FAQ
Everything you might be wondering before your first day on the rock — and the systems that keep your day safe and fun.
How we keep your day safe and fun
Safety-first guiding
Every climb starts with a gear check and a clear plan. We follow industry-standard systems and double-check everything before you leave the ground.
Beginner-friendly instruction
No experience needed. We meet you at your comfort level, explain everything clearly, and never push you past what feels right.
Gear and preparation
We can provide harnesses, helmets, shoes, ropes, and hardware. You bring water, snacks, and clothes you can move in.
Weather and rescheduling
Colorado weather is unpredictable. If conditions aren't safe, we reschedule or pivot — no questions asked.
Waivers and expectations
All participants sign a waiver before climbing. We'll send it ahead of time so you can read carefully and ask questions.
What a typical day looks like
Meet at the trailhead, hike to the crag, gear up, go through systems and safety, climb until your forearms beg for mercy, snack break, climb more, debrief.
Fun but responsible
We take safety seriously and the rest of the day not so seriously. Good music, good snacks, and a no-ego vibe.
